Quick off the tree with a .011 reaction time, the Yellville, Arkansas driver won on a holeshot over runner-up Matt Lee from Seneca, Missouri. Trammell added a 4.967-second run at 134.61 mph on a 4.95 dial-in for his winning package. Lee had a 4.768-second pass at 143.27 mph on a 4.78 dial-in with a .062 reaction time.
A pair of other Missouri racers kept the winning Ironman trophies in the Show-Me State.
Tyler Banks from St. Joe roared down the drag strip in 5.573 seconds at 117.55 mph on a 5.55 dial-in for the No Box victory. Runner-up Jim Kleine from Stotts City, Mo., had the better reaction time .009 to .021, but missed out with a 7.052-second pass at 92.40 mph on a 7.01 dial-in.
Daniel Curl from Mt. Vernon, Mo., was the Sportsman winner, posting a 7.459-second run at 84.97 mph on a 7.45 dial-in with a .038 reaction time. Final-round opponent Brain Roskob from Tulsa, Oklahoma was better at the start .025, but finished with a 7.726-second pass at 86.54 mph on a 7.70 dial-in.
Alex Theiss well represented racers from the Sunflower State, winning on a holeshot in the Junior Dragster final. Theiss, from Carney, Kansas had an 8.019-second run at 77.08 mph on an 8.00 dial-in. Hope Hill, another Mt. Vernon driver, finished in 9.019 seconds (71.80 mph) on a 9.01 dial-in. But, Theiss easily won the battle off the line with a .012 reaction time to .119 for Hill.
