Racers will have the chance to compete for big checks, big money, prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies and a chance to qualify for the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals.
It’s part of a two-day event in conjunction with the Moser Engineering Big Bucks Shootout.
It starts Friday night with a $1,500-to-win Box and No Box combo race. Saturday’s Sportsman Spectacular day and features $2,000-to-win races for the Top and Mod classes. The Sportsman class features a $400-to-win race. In addition, there is a race for the Junior Dragsters, an Ohio Crankshaft $1,000-to-win Quick 16 Shootout and the exciting Sam Pierce Chevrolet Night of Fire featuring the jet semi and jet cars.
Gates open 4 p.m. Friday with timed runs at 5 p.m. and eliminations at 8 p.m. Gates open 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday features gates opening at 8 a.m., time runs at 10 a.m. followed by racing.
Single-day entry is $50 for Friday, $80 for Saturday and $85 for both days. Spectator admission is $10 Friday or $25 for Saturday.
Here are important facts regarding the event:
• Sportsman Spectacular winners, who are IHRA members, now earn entry into the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals in conjunction with entering at least two other IHRA races (IHRA-member track Summit SuperSeries team race or other IHRA Sportsman Spectacular races). Current IHRA membership is required.
• Get an early jump on becoming an IHRA member by clicking here for the IHRA membership center or by calling Heather at (85) JOIN-IHRA. Racers can also sign up for memberships at the track.
• Event entry will take place at the track
• IHRA license renewal will be available on site
• IHRA IronMan trophies awarded to event winners
