Racers in Top (Box), Mod (No Box), Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster classes will compete for prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies and the very popular oversized championship checks. IHRA members will also be in the running for limited-edition Sportsman Spectacular commemorative medals.
They can gain entry to the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering by winning Saturday’s main event in conjunction with entering at least two other IHRA races (an IHRA-member track Summit SuperSeries team race or Sportsman Spectacular) before the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals. Current IHRA membership is required.
Drivers in both the Top ET (Box) and Mod ET (No Box) classes will face off in $3,000-to-win main events. It’s quite a value, just $75 to enter. The Sportsman and Motorcycle classes will race for a $350 check with just a $40 entry fee. Junior Dragster racers will compete for a $300 winner’s purse with a $35 entry fee.
Gates open at 9 a.m. with time trials at 10 a.m. Eliminations will follow. Admission is $25 for spectators and crew members. It’s a $10 cost for kids 6-15 to attend with those 5-under admitted free.
