Thomas Lidster, nicknamed P-Rod, won the $5,000 top prize for the Top ET (Box) class at the Eastern Kentucky track. Lidster powered his white dragster to the victory, while Allen Owens was the Top ET runner-up in his blue Camaro.
Anthony Blackburn captured the $2,000 prize as the Modified (No Box) winner in his blue Chevy Malibu. It was a family affair with Laine Blackburn taking the runner-up spot.
A couple of Mopar drivers also recorded big victories. Clay King’s yellow Plymouth Barracuda with the black vinyl top stung the competition in the Sportsman race. He held on the quarter-mile for a $500 victory.
Gary Godsney added to the bounty. He picked up $500 by racing his black Charger to the Footbrake victory back on the eighth-mile.
Clayton Watson finished off the list of big-car victories. Watson raced his Chevy Camaro down the drag strip as the Daily Driver Winner.
Kayden Kratzer, the 2022 King of the Bluegrass champion, completed the list of Saturday winners. He took top honors amongst the Junior Dragsters for a $500 vitory.
