Saturday, June 10 is a huge day with double points and the winners in each of the following classes: Top (Box), Mod (No Box), Sportsman, Motorcycle and Junior Dragster to receive an IHRA Ironman trophy. If that’s not enough, it’s also a double-points day.
In addition, the track is hosting the UMTR North vs. South Summer Nationals. Gates open at 9 a.m. with Junior Dragster time trials at 11 a.m. and big car time trials at noon. After everyone receives two timed runs, eliminations will follow.
If that’s not enough, Sunday’s IHRA Summit SuperSeries races will also pay double points. For someone racing the whole weekend, it’s a tremendous chance to rack up on the points.
