Bolton drove his dragster to Saturday’s $3,000-to-win Super Pro (Box) victory over Chad Branum in the final round of eliminations at the 1/8-mile Texas track.
Marshall was the winner of the Pro (No Box) class. He dispatched of Jake Howard in the final round to earn the $3,000 victory.
Carter Jones was the best of the bunch in the Sportsman category. He drove his green machine to the win as Matt Rhodes took runner-up honors.
It was an all-Jones final for the Junior Dragster Ironman. Phillip Jones roared to the victory as James Jones was his championship-round opponent.
Designed to add excitement to a track’s bracket racing program, the IHRA Ironman Classic did just that with the drivers competing for the prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies. Overall, it was part of the larger two-day event with great racing also taking place Friday.
Bolton was also the winner in the Super Pro race on Friday night. He took top honors against James McNeal in the final round.
Aaron Cadena was Friday’s Pro winner. He was strong throughout his run to beat Brad Irving for the Pro victory.
Anthony Britton captured the Sportsman victory with a win over Andrea Ruffin in the final round.
Tristan Enox rounded out the list of weekend winners. He took the Junior Dragster win as Isaac Bolton rolled to the runner-up finish.
