Jonathan Shipman was spot-on with his 6.26 dial-in time with a run at 107 mph with a .036 reaction time for the win the Super Pro (Box) class. Wayne Trammell, an accomplished racer with several big IHRA victories, was runner-up despite a great .010 reaction time. He posted a 4.95-second pass at 138 mph on a 4.92 dial-in.
The Pro (Box) class winner was Adam Wewer, who went down the drag strip in 6.57 seconds at 100 mph with a 6.55 dial-in. Runner-up Marty Johnson had a 6.89-second run at 100 mph on a 6.88 dial-in. Wewer pulled off the close victory, thanks to a .052 to .071 advantage at the start.
Drew Torres captured the Street ET (Sportsman) victory with a package which included a 7.83-second pass at 85 mph on a 7.78 dial, along with a .018 reaction time. Runner-up Ronnie Silvey finished in 7.89 seconds at 85 mph with a .172 reaction time.
Ayla Peoples gained the advantage at the start .094 to .207 and went on for the win over final-round opponent Jo Joe Fondren. Peoples had a 9.49-second elapsed time at 64 mph with a 9.45 dial-in. Fondren had a 12.22-second run at 50 mph with a 12.10 dial-in.
