It’s a three-day event starting with a test-and-tune along with shootouts for Friday. There’s a $3,000-to-win Pro 32 Shootout with a $150 entry and a $1,000-to-win No Box 16 Shootout with a $100 entry. There are also Sportsman 16 and Junior 16 shootouts.
Saturday is the IHRA Ironman Classic with a Super Pro race which pays up to $7,500 to the winner and a $5,500 guarantee. It’s a $125 entry fee. The No Box class pays up to $2,000 to win and a $1,550 guarantee with a $60 entry.
The Sportsman and Junior classes pay $300 to win the winner with 20 entries and $100 added with every 5-car increase. It costs $35 to enter the Sportsman race and $25 to enter the Junior Dragster race.
Sunday features time trials and eliminations to follow. Weekend Super Pro entries for Saturday and Sunday are $180 with No Box entries $110. Additional discounts are available for double entries.
There’s a $15 admission for spectators with a $30 weekend special Friday through Sunday. Kids 10-under are admitted free.
Gates open at 3 p.m. with shootouts at 7 p.m. Saturday has gates opening at 8 a.m. with timed runs at 10 a.m. followed by eliminations. Gates open at 9 a.m. followed by a church service at 10 a.m. The new entry time run at noon with eliminations to follow.
