Ronnie “the King” Davis, 66, a three-time IHRA World Champion and the reigning PDRA Champion in the Top Sportsman class, succumbed Sunday to injuries suffered in the Saturday crash of his 1963 Corvette during qualifying for the third annual PDRA Spring Nationals at Rockingham Dragway.

William 'Bee' Godwin, 59, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2016 in Temple, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Rucker officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

The 2016 IHRA Division 9 Summit Pro Am Tour hits the road this weekend at Farmington Dragway.

After a hard fought attempt to finish the 2015 Division 1 Summit Team Finals, the rescheduled event for this weekend at Piedmont Dragway has been canceled.
