The event included a full complement of IHRA sportsman classes along with special features. The fastest class on hand was the Quick Performance Midwest Pro Outlaw with a unique variety of entries including nitro fuel altereds, pro-mods and dragsters that race off of a 4.00 eighth-mile index. Jarod Micetich took the win in his dragster with a 3.98 ET to stop the “Nitro Madness” fuel altered driven by Roger “Radar” Lechtenburg’s with a 3.97. Low ET for the category went to Micetich with a 3.95.
In addition to the Pro Outlaw category, the fans were treated to the Miss Elle’ Jet Dragster blasting to a 193.28 mph along with the “Chevy Rebellion” wheelstander.
Other class winners included; Trophy: Chad Clement, Sportsman: Gil Caughlin, Junior Dragster: Autumn Hansen, Modified ET: Cory Heckenliable and Top ET: Brian Wood.
