Gates will open at noon on Friday and tech will follow at 1pm. Test and Tune will run from 5 to 9 pm.
Saturday will begin with 2 rounds of qualifying, followed by eliminations at 9am.
The Division 1, Patriots, event will also count as an â€śIn Divisionâ€ť race for those racers claiming Division 3, North Stars, points in the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am tour presented by Amsoil.
In correspondence with moving the North Stars Divisional Claim from Dragway 42 to Empire, the Division 3 Super Rod Bonus will also be awarded to the Winner and Runner up of the Saturday event. At each Division 3 North Stars event, a $750 bonus will be paid to the winners of the Super Rod class and a $250 bonus will be paid to the runner-up finishers. The total added payout equals $8,000, up from $5,000 in 2014.
