“With two inches of rain forecasted for Friday and Saturday we felt it was in everyone’s best interest to postpone the event," said IHRA Director Josh Peake. “Piedmont Track Manger Kevin Shipman and myself looked at the weather very closely this week hoping for the best. Unfortunately the forecast didn’t improve and we wanted to let everyone know as soon as possible," Peake added.

Next stop on the IHRA Division 9 schedule is next weekend at Darlington Dragway.
