This weekend’s much anticipated event is one that all racers have been looking forward to since the news of Darlington Dragway’s new ownership and facility improvement program was announced. Russell Miller and his staff have spent countless hours over the past 6 months bringing the 40 year old facility back to life. Upgrades to the facility include concrete retaining walls, track resurfacing, new timing system and completely remodeled bathrooms and showers. “ I could not be more excited about going back to Darlington. This facility means so much to the entire IHRA family with the history that it bears”, said IHRA Division Director Josh Peake.
The weekend starts with test and tune on Friday from 6-10pm. Summit Pro-Am Qualifying starts at 9 am Saturday with 2 qualifying session followed by ET combo racing. God Speed Church Service starts at 9 am Sunday with Pro Am eliminations beginning at 10 am.
