Now, the IHRA has teamed with Evil SwingArms to provide a $575 value, either a basic swingarm or towards the purchase of a higher-priced swingarm, as part of the prize package for the 2023 IHRA Summit SuperSeries Motorcycle World Champion.
It’s an exciting venture for both the IHRA and the Lexington, N.C.-based company.
“This is a great opportunity to get our name out there even more,” Evil SwingArms co-owner Brenda Eads said. “It’s an honor to be involved in the celebration of the IHRA Motorcycle World Champion.”
Brenda’s husband, Tony, started the family-owned business 18 years. Tony Eads wanted a swingarm for his own motorcycle and saw how expensive they were. He built his own from scratch and the design proved to be popular with friends and other motorcycle enthusiasts.
As word spread, so did the demand. Now with their son Wade joining the family business, Evil SwingArms ships its products all over the world.
“This is another example of the IHRA and its partners providing prizes that are useful to our racers,” IHRA Racer & Track Relations Director Paige Hamlin said. “Evil SwingArms has a reputation for building the finest products in its field and it’s a fitting prize for our inaugural IHRA Motorcycle World Champion.”
The rest of the IHRA Summit SuperSeries Motorcycle prize package will be announced at a later date. Keep checking out the IHRA.com website and our social media pages for further announcements.
