Whether you like the craziness of small tire racing or the competitiveness of bracket racing, you can find it all this weekend at the home of the official outlaws.
IHRA President Mel Roth is there on hand as the Shelby, N.C., track gets prepped for the exciting weekend of racing. Friday night action is highlighted by a free-entry, non-points race for the Pro and Footbrake classes.
Saturday features the debut of the IHRA Summit SuperSeries with the first points race of the season. For both the Pro and Footbrake classes, it’s a guaranteed $2,500-to-win purse. Drivers, who are IHRA members, can now participate in the most prestigious national championship program in bracket racing.
Roth is offering sign-ups for IHRA membership on-site. Racers can also go to the website click here or call Heather at 85-JOIN IHRA to become an IHRA member.
