Many tracks are hitting the final leg in their battle for IHRA Summit SuperSeries championships.
Elk Creek Dragway in Virginia provides great Division 1 (Patriots) racing Saturday at the scenic venue in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Roxboro Motorsports Park in North Carolina hosts its IHRA Ironman Fall Bash Challenge with Top and Footbrake races Friday, Saturday and Sunday
In the neighboring states of Tennessee and Kentucky, there’s the great Division 2 (Heat Wave) action. Gleason Raceway Park has a Friday night race in the Volunteer State, while Music City Raceway brings Division 2 racing to the Nashville suburbs on Saturday.
London Dragway and Beacon Dragway also host Division 2 races in the Bluegrass State, while Ozark Raceway Park brings Saturday action to the Show Me State of Missouri.
Ohio and Indiana are the destinations for Division 3 (North Stars) action. Quaker City Motorsports Park, Kuhnle Motorsports Park and KD Motorsports Park all feature Saturday races in the Buckeye State, while Muncie Dragway has a big points night in the Hoosier State. Deep in the heart of Texas, there’s Division 4 (Renegades) racing at both Little River Dragway and Paris Dragway.
Central Illinois Dragway is the site of the final IHRA Sportsman Spectacular of the season on Saturday. Besides that great race day presented by Moser Engineering and Fuel Tech, there are IHRA Summit SuperSeries Division 5 (Thunder) races at I57 Dragstrip and Wisconsin International Raceway.
Thunder Valley Dragways in South Dakota has two days of Division 6 (Midwest) racing Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday race features the Junior Dragster Jackpot, while the IHRA Ironman Classic is on tap Sunday. Humboldt Dragway also brings Division 6 action to Iowa on Saturday.
Holiday Raceway in Alabama is the site of Division 8 (South) bracket racing Saturday. Shadyside Dragway in North Carolina hosts the Division 9 (Raiders) that day. Across the border in the Palmetto State, there are Saturday races at South Carolina Motorplex and Pageland Dragway.
