Degnitz captured the Top victory in his dragster as Jason Spittle raced his maroon and white Camaro to the runner-up finish.
Moeller powered his black Camaro to the Mod triumph with Patrick Sarauer driving his red S-10 pickup to the final.
Debaere parked his red Toyota Tacoma in the winners’ circle for the Street race with Bill Fischer the runner-up in his green Chevelle.
Ryder Vehring captured the trophy and cash prize in Junior Dragster. TJ Stetson finished second.
In addition to the IHRA Ironman races, Josh Shones took home the $2,000 big check for the Wisconsin Outlaw Street radial-tire race.
Sunday races included more great bracket racing with Kyle Collins winning the Mod (No Box) final on a holeshot. Collins used .013 to .066 advantage in reaction time to beat Scott Pichette in the final round.
Tracy Diekfuss took top honors in Top (Box) going .003 at the tree as final-round opponent Tanner Osborne fouled by leaving -.013 too quick.
Tim Richmond was the Sportsman winner, also with a terrific .003-second reaction time, to beat Mike Black in the last round.
More great racing is on tap at the world’s oldest continuously operating drag strip. Great Lakes Dragaway is hosting the Time Machine Nationals this Saturday with many fan favorites.
The lineup of incredible, fire-breathing and ground-pounding machines includes Jet Cars, Nitro Funny Cars, Wheelstanders, Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stock, Gassers and Door Slammers. There are even daredevil stunt bikes and a special appearance by Pontiac racing legend Arnie “The Farmer” Beswick.
