Howard posted a run of 5.284 seconds against a 5.28 dial-in to take the Super Pro (Box) victory. Runner-up Mitch Marcy had a .019 reaction time to win the race off the starting line, but came up short with a run of 5.383 seconds against a 5.27 dial-in.
Stewart was also right-on with his 5.866-second pass against a 5.86 dial-in. He also left the tree a little quicker .087 to .116 than runner-up Bill Hess, who broke out with a 7.746-second run against a 7.75 dial-in.
Both Sportsman finalists broke out in the final round, but Bull had the better package with a 7.712-second run against a 7.72 dial-in with a .056 reaction time. Robert Matthews went 7.935 seconds against an 8.01 dial-in with a little quicker .046 start.
Corn harvested the win on the Motorcycles with a 6.945-second elapsed time and a 7.00 dial-in. Ira Flores posted a 6.045-second run against a 6.10 dial-in. Corn had the better start .214 to .365 over Flores.
Tafoya won the Junior Dragster final on a holeshot .039 to .176 over Shyanne Burdine. Tafoya needed the good start with a 9.042-second run against an 8.99 dial-in. Burdine was close to her 8.10 dial-in with a pass of 8.110 seconds.
Two tracks — Amarillo Dragway in Texas and Muncie Dragway in Indiana — have IHRA Ironman Classic races scheduled for this Saturday.
