The IHRA Summit Racing Equipment World Finals kicked off on Friday with one round of Nitro Jam professional qualifying and one round of eliminations for most sportsman classes until Mother Nature took over Friday night at Memphis International Raceway.

The International Hot Rod Association announced its 2014 special award winners and unveiled its two Summit SuperSeries championship dragsters all at the 2014 IHRA Awards Celebration Friday morning at the IHRA Summit Racing Equipment World Finals at Memphis International Raceway.

Thanks to the continued collaborative effort between the International Hot Rod Association and Motor Mania TV, the IHRA is pleased to announce that the IHRA Summit Racing Equipment World Finals from Memphis International Raceway will be broadcast live exclusively on IHRA.com this Friday and Saturday.

After two months of grueling competition at nine events set across the United States and Canada, the field is finally set for the 2014 Summit Racing Equipment SuperSeries World Championship presented by AMSOIL at this weekend’s IHRA Summit Racing Equipment World Finals at Memphis International Raceway.

MILLINGTON, Tenn. – The International Hot Rod Association’s (IHRA) Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series returns to Memphis International Raceway in Millington, Tenn. this Friday and Saturday (October 10-11) for the annual IHRA Summit Racing Equipment World Finals.

The final race of the 2014 IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Team Finals presented by AMSOIL season took place over the weekend at Memphis International Raceway with the single largest team event of the year at the Division 2 West Team Finals.

The IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Team Finals presented by AMSOIL continued this past weekend with the Division 1 Team Finals at Piedmont Dragway in North Carolina. Racing kicked off on Friday with six more drivers earning a spot in the Summit SuperSeries championships taking place next month in Tennessee followed by the team championships on Saturday.

IHRA’s Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series will wrap up the 2014 season with some intriguing battles and some great racing entering the final event of the year at the Summit Racing Equipment World Finals October 10-11 at Memphis International Raceway.

JUPITER, FLORIDA - October 2, 2014 - IRG Sports + Entertainment™ (IRG) President & CEO, Jason Rittenberry, announced today that the Company has entered into a finance agreement with TPG Specialty Lending (NYSE:TSLX), the publicly traded affiliate of TSSP, the credit and special situations investment platform of TPG. The new credit facility is replacing IRG's existing debt facilities on all companies, make capital improvements to existing assets owned by the Company and to close on the acquisition of Cordova Dragway Park in Cordova, Illinois (to be rebranded as Cordova International Raceway™ (CIR), that was announced in late 2013. The TPG facility also provides the Company with funds to purchase an additional major motorsports venue, which the Company will announce in the coming weeks.
