It all comes down to this. After a thrilling season of drag racing action on the IHRA Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series North American Tour and IHRA's premier sportsman programs, the best drivers in IHRA drag racing head to Memphis International Raceway for the final race of the 2014 season the weekend of October 10-11 at the Summit Racing Equipment World Finals.

As the Summit SuperSeries championship dragster enters the final stages of its build, we take a closer look at three major contributors to this year’s amazing prize. Weld Wheels, House of Payne Performance and White Safety all provided important parts to this year’s dragster build and all three were pivotal in making the car faster, safer and more powerful.

The IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Summit Team Finals presented by AMSOIL season continues this weekend with a pair of Team Finals events at Pine Valley Raceway in Texas and Piedmont Dragway in North Carolina.

The International Hot Rod Association™ and MAV TV announced this week that the new Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series television show will debut on the popular automotive network on Thursday, November 6 in the first in a 13-week series.

The Division 2 East IHRA Summit Team Finals presented by AMSOIL took place this past weekend at Carolina Dragway with the host team narrowly escaping with the team win and six more drivers earning a spot in the Summit SuperSeries championship runoff later this year at Memphis International Raceway.

Pittsburgh Raceway Park was the site of this year’s Division 3 Summit Team Finals as the track hosted nine teams from four states throughout the weekend. And to kick off the weekend, six drivers advanced out of the Division 3 Team Finals and will head to Memphis International Raceway as representatives in the Summit SuperSeries presented by AMSOIL World Championship.

Today, we look at two more companies that have provided key components to the biggest prize of them all – the Summit SuperSeries dragster.

The International Hot Rod Association™ (IHRA) and IRG Sports + Entertainment™ are excited to announce the 2015 IHRA Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series (NJDRS) schedule. The 12-race, 2015 IHRA Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series North American Tour will include a number of traditional favorites, plus two new stops in Ohio and Washington as the series travels to nine states and Canada, making the IHRA one of the only truly international motorsports series.

At the 2014 Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam Nationals in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, two longtime IHRA officials were injured in accidents. Marc Kinton, head of safety and rescue for IHRA, had to be airlifted to University Hospital with head and shoulder injuries. Soon after, Thomas Czaplicki was rushed to the same hospital after he wrecked his scooter in responding to an on-track accident.
