With a less than favorable forecast for Sunday and two races to get in over the course of the weekend, IHRA officials have announced that they will move up Day 2 of the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL to Saturday giving racers two complete races in one day.

The rains were coming, so Nitro Jam kicked things into overdrive.

With a gloomy forecast and a nice window of warm, dry weather on Saturday, the International Hot Rod Association stepped up in a big way and accomplished the impossible by squeezing in two full sportsman races and a Nitro Jam all in one day with nearly two dozen drivers walking away winners and fans witnessing an incredible show all during a jam-packed Suzuki Pittsburgh Nitro Jam at Pittsburgh Raceway Park.

 International Hot Rod Association® (IHRA®) announced today that AMSOIL INC. has signed a multi-year agreement to be the official and exclusive oil of IHRA, Nitro Jam®, Thunder Jam®, and presenting sponsor of all IHRA Summit Racing Equipment sportsman programs.

The multi-year agreement marks the company’s first partnership with the IHRA.
