Tony Petersen set a new standard for himself when he reached the final round of Top (Box) eliminations at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering. 

The Nebraska racer qualified for the World Finals by winning his track championship at Onawa (Iowa) Dragway. He was then able to compete in the IHRA Division 6 (Midwest) Team Finals before taking the trip South to Holly Springs Motorsports Park for the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals.

LONDON, Ky. — London Dragway has three days of big racing and big payouts with the “Big Buck Sch-Bang” next weekend, Oct. 20-22.

There are guaranteed payouts with the prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies handed out on Saturday, Oct. 21 in the Top, Mod, Sportsman and Junior Dragster classes.

AJ Leung relished the moment he won the Junior Dragster championship at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering.

The 17-year-old who represented Wisconsin International Raceway realized what a special accomplishment it was. He had beaten the best Junior Dragster racers in the country, which included Ty Janousek, the well-decorated racer from Texas representing Little River Dragway, in the final round.

CLAY CITY, Ky. — Kentucky Dragway is scheduled to finish its 2023 racing season with two huge events — the 53rd annual Ken-Mor Bluegrass Nationals on Oct. 19-22 and HalloThanksMas on Oct. 27-29.

Both of these feature races which the prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies will be handed out.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Dragway kicked off its 60th anniversary with the announcement the track was returning to IHRA sanction in 2023.

Now, New Mexico’s premier drag racing facility will be a part of the IHRA family for 2024 and beyond as part of a multi-year sanctioning agreement.
