ELK CREEK, Va. — The International Hot Rod Association honored racers and teams with special awards at the IHRA Division 1 (Patriots) Summit Team Finals at Elk Creek Dragway.

Roxboro Motorsports Park was recognized with the best appearing grandstand as they continue to bring attention to the cause of Autism Awareness. Other teams were recognized as were different individuals in this fun-filled weekend.

It will be the debut of the new Division 8 at Alabama International Dragway, while the Division 9 Summit Team Finals will be at South Carolina Motorplex for the first-time ever.

There was plenty of great racing over the weekend, but also plenty of great fellowship as the Division 2 racers got a sneak peek at the track which will host the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals October 5-7.

HOLLY SPRINGS, Ms. — Music City Raceway enjoyed the sweet sound of victory Saturday at the IHRA Division 2 (Heat Wave) Summit Team Finals at Holly Springs Motorsports Park.

The Nashville-area track had four racers reach the final round to take the win over the home team from Holly Springs.
