BONNE TERRE, Mo. — The International Hot Rod Association is pleased to announce Bonne Terre Drag Strip has reached a multi-year agreement with the IHRA.
Built in 2014 by Jarrod Keen, the 1/8-mile Missouri drag strip is an hour south of St. Louis. It is on the site of a former sand drag course. With the popularity of sand drags falling off, Keen has made it into a terrific place for racers with an all-concrete track with concrete walls, an asphalt shutdown area and a paved pit area.
BRISTOL, Tenn. — Taylor Bowling survived wet weather to come through a field of 502 entries and win the $50,000 prize at Sunday’s BTE World Footbrake Challenge at Bristol Dragway.
PARIS, Texas — Jason Bolton doubled up over the weekend, while Bobo Marshall, Carter Jones and Phillip Jones also took home IHRA Ironman trophies at the Red River Valley Shootout at Paris Dragstrip.
