All Division 1 Patriots Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour Presented By AMSOIL competitors who were in attendance at the Richmond Dragway event will receive an “attendance credit” for the second day’s entry.  This attendance credit will be added to all those who competed in the first day’s event, in an effort to help satisfy the minimum of four (4) “in-division” events that are mandatory to be eligible for season ending awards.

-- IRG Sports + Entertainment™ (IRG) and the International Hot Rod Association™ (IHRA) are proud to announce Mech-Tech College & Racetrack has become an IHRA member track. The strip, which operates each weekend, is on the property of Mech-Tech College and is an integral part of the training center.

The unique 1/8-mile drag strip is located in Ponce, Puerto Rico – south of San Juan, on the east side of the island. The track is 2,000 feet long, 60 feet wide and uses a Compulink timing system.

The annual IHRA Nitro Jam Palm Beach Nationals Presented By Sunoco Race Fuels concluded Saturday night at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida. The weekend also included a single-event Summit Racing Pro-Am Tour Presented By AMSOIL meet for Division 2 racers.

Sportsman-category winners included: Paul Rabis (Good Vibrations Top Dragster) Keith Russell (Good Vibrations Top Sportsman), Frank Altilio (Quick Rod), Mick Rice (Super Rod), Mark Nowicki (Super Stock), Myron Piatek (Stock), Claude Bebonis (Box), Sonny Freeland (Hot Rod and No Box), Camryn Fredrickson (Jr. Dragster Master), Michael Carpenter (Jr. Dragster Advanced) and William Craft (Jr. Dragster Beginner).

Due to local curfew laws, the Summit Racing Pro-Am Tour Presented By AMSOIL sportsman categories -- run in conjunction with IHRA Nitro Jam Southern Nationals -- were completed on Sunday, April 19, at Bradenton (Florida) Motorsports Park.

IHRA Summit Racing Pro-Am Tour Presented By AMSOIL competitors patiently waited out the bad weather at Richmond Dragway in Sandston, Virginia, in order to complete one race of a weekend doubleheader. Anthony Walton of Jacksonville, North Carolina, cut a perfect light -- .0000 reaction time – to defeat Thomas Fletcher of upstate New York in the Stock final.

April 18, 2015 – There were five class winners at the annual IHRA Nitro Jam Southern Nationals Presented By Crower tonight at Bradenton (Florida) Motorsports Park, but Mike McIntire Jr. scored the biggest victory. McIntire won the AMSOIL Nitro Funny Car Presented By Aeromotive final over Baton Rouge winner Tim Boychuk. In the process, he also broke IHRA Nitro Funny Car top speed and elapsed time records. One record he broke was his own, set during his run to victory in the 2015 season—opener in Tucson in February.

Qualifying has concluded and the field is set for tonight’s eliminations at the IHRA Nitro Jam Southern Nationals Presented By Crower at Bradenton (Florida) Motorsports Park.

No. 1 Qualifiers: Tim Boychuk (AMSOIL Nitro Funny Car Presented By Aeromotive), John Montecalvo (U.S. Bounty Hunters Pro Stock), “Tak” Shigematsu (Nitro Harley) Isaias Rojas (Crower Pro Mod) and “Kate” Moller (Jet Dragsters).

Friday’s qualifying has concluded for this weekend’s IHRA Nitro Jam Southern Nationals Presented By Crower at Bradenton (Florida) Motorsports Park.

Tim Boychuk, winner of the previous IHRA Nitro Jam event in Baton Rouge, retained his No. 1 Qualifier status in AMSOIL Nitro Funny Car Presented By Aeromotive qualifying. New Yorker John Montecalvo did likewise in the U.S. Bounty Hunters Pro Stock class.

The IHRA Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL completed their single-event meet on Sunday, April 12, at the 1/8-mile Piedmont Dragway in Julian, North Carolina.

Weekend winners included: Stephanie Raynor (Good Vibrations Top Sportsman), E.J. Womack (Good Vibrations Top Dragster), Homer Carty (Super Stock), Terry Taylor (Stock), Mitchell Harkey (Quick Rod), Corey Manuel (Super Rod), Chris Dean (Hot Rod), Chad Logan (Junior Dragster Masters), Wallace Wilson (Junior Dragster Advanced) and Logan Westmoreland (Junior Dragster Beginner). The Best Appearing Car Award went to Eddie Longhany. The Best Engineered Award was won by Donny Urban.
