SHELBY, N.C. — Shadyside Dragway operator Seth Buff sees the correlation between his track joining the International Hot Rod Association last fall and it paying off this season.

“We’ve had a great year, on course to have one of the better years that I’ve experienced,” Buff said. “It’s a great year for racing. Our bracket racing and our heads-up racing have been tough. It’s been a good year, through and through.”

ONAWA, Iowa — The 2023 International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Summit Team Finals are scheduled to begin in less than one month, August 24-26, with the Division 6 (Midwest) finals at Onawa Dragway in Iowa.
