HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — In his first year drag racing competitively, seven-year-old Jaxon Lee has shown the dedication of someone much older.

LONDON, Ky. — Three days of exciting racing, big payouts and a win by a former IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Champion highlighted the “Big Buck Sch-Bang” at London Dragway last weekend.

Racing took place Friday through Sunday with the prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies awarded to the winners in the Top, Mod, Sportsman and Junior Dragster classes.

MOUNT OLIVE, Ala. — Talk about a pleasant surprise.

When Lassiter Mountain Dragway presented by Mobsquad Performance re-opened for a test-and-tune last Sunday, track personnel were expecting around 100 people to attend. They were caught off guard when five times that many showed up and cars were backed up halfway down the mountain.

CLAY CITY, Ky. — Another exciting chapter was added to the historic 53rd annual Ken-Mor Bluegrass Nationals at Kentucky Dragway.

With big money and the prestigious IHRA Ironman trophies on the line, the annual affair turned out to be an overwhelming success.

ODESSA, Texas — Penwell Knights Raceway at Caprock Motorplex, called the Permian Basin’s premier drag racing facility, has teamed up with the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA), the premier promoter of grassroots, Sportsman drag racing, for a multi-year extension of their sanctioning agreement.

I’ve recently completed my first year as owner of the International Hot Rod Association and it has been quite an adventure.

First, thanks to all the track operators, racers and valued partners like Summit Racing Equipment and Sunoco Race Fuels who put their trust in our team to continue the IHRA’s mission to stay committed to the grassroots, Sportsman racers. Thanks to our dedicated staff who share in the vision and understand ultimately we all work for the racers and tracks.

GLEASON, Tenn. — Six racers earned their first-ever IHRA Ironman trophies during last weekend’s Halloween Havoc at Gleason Raceway Park.

HOLLAND, Texas — It was announced today that Little River Dragway and the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) have renewed their strong partnership through a multi-year sanctioning agreement.

The 1/8-mile Texas track, located near the Army base of Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood), has served as host for the IHRA Division 4 Junior Team Finals in recent years and has a long history with the IHRA. Started in 1957, Little River Dragway was named IHRA Division 4 (Renegades) Track of the Year in both 2013 and 2021.

William Keele Jr. surprised himself with his performance at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering.

After qualifying for the race at Holly Springs Motorsports Park, the Texas racer decided to bring a bike he had built some 40 years ago and hadn’t been on a while. Turns out that was a great choice as the Keele, representing Edinburg Motorsports Park, made it all the way to the final round of eliminations.

Ty Janousek is only 13 years old, but has been racing nearly half his life.

It’s little surprise the talented Texan made it to the Junior Dragster championship round of the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering at Holly Springs Motorsports Park.
