HOUSE SPRINGS, Mo. — There’s plenty of good news in the latest edition of IHRA Drag Review Magazine now online.

Check out tools from Summit Racing Equipment to make it easier to work on your race car, reports from some of the IHRA Summit Team Finals and track spotlights on Lassiter Mountain Dragway and Darlington Dragway, set to return to IHRA in 2024. 

The classic Eagles song, “Take it to the Limit,” would have been the perfect theme for Aaron Richards at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering. 

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Dragway kicked off its 60th anniversary with the announcement the track was returning to IHRA sanction in 2023.

Now, New Mexico’s premier drag racing facility will be a part of the IHRA family for 2024 and beyond as part of a multi-year sanctioning agreement.

Wesley Lockhart already had a reputation as one of the best bracket racers in America. He added to that reputation last Saturday night by winning the Mod (No Box) class at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering. 

Jeromy Hefler roared back from a vicious crash last season to reach the pinnacle of bracket racing last Saturday night.

The Fort Worth, Texas driver, representing Xtreme Raceway Park, defeated Tony Petersen from Onawa Dragway in the Top (Box) final at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering at Holly Springs Motorsports Park. Petersen fouled at the start as Hefler posted a winning run of 6.638-seconds at 107.27 mph.

ELK CREEK, Va. — Elk Creek Dragway stepped up to the challenge and delivered in a huge way.

When the International Hot Rod Association made the decision to move the IHRA Division 1 (Patriots) Summit Team Finals to the Southwest Virginia track, track operator Mike Walters and team immediately got to work to prepare the facility to host such a large event.

HOLLY SPRINGS, Ms. — It was a time of celebration at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering at Holly Springs Motorsports Park.

Obviously, the five IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Champions — Jeromy Hefler (Top), Wesley Lockhart (Mod), Aaron Richards (Sportsman), Kane Austin (Motorcycle) and AJ Leung (Junior Dragster) — were thrilled with big payouts and prize packages which totaled over $275,000. 

HOLLY SPRINGS, Ms. — Five racers — Jeromy Hefler, Wesley Lockhart, Aaron Richards, Kane Austin and AJ Leung —  were crowned best of the best as winners of the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering.

The annual gathering of bracket racing champions across North America was more competitive than ever before. It featured individual IHRA Summit SuperSeries track champions, divisional champions from the IHRA Summit Team Finals, winners of the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering and FuelTech events, and former IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Champions.

HOLLY SPRINGS, Ms. — Bunker Hill Dragstrip owners Terry and Cori McMillen have been racers at the highest levels as well as track and other business owners. They’re at the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals presented by Strange Engineering, offering support to the racers who have supported them. 

HOLLY SPRINGS, Ms. — Five drivers emerged victorious in the IHRA Summit SuperSeries World Finals Race of Champions Gamblers at Holly Springs Motorsports Park. With a large number of entries, the race extended from Friday night well into Saturday morning.
