HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — Instead of guitars, the tuning of sweet sounding engines will be the focus when the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering and Fuel Tech comes to Music City Raceway in two weeks, Saturday, April 15.

The International Hot Rod Association would like to pass on its appreciation to longtime member racer Scott Macy for the kind words he shared about his recent experience at the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser and Fuel Tech at Piedmont Dragway.

BAILEYTON, Ala. — The name of the track is Baileyton “Good Time” Drag Strip and it’s sure to be a good time Saturday when the engines fire up for the first bracket races of the 2023 season.

With great sponsorship, Baileyton Drag Strip racers will be competing for big money each time out. The Pro (Box) class, sponsored by Austin Hinds Motors, has $5,000 guaranteed for the winner and $800 for the runner-up.

RINGGOLD, Ga. — Brainerd Motorsports Park hosted some of the top youth drag racers across the country for the Junior Jam 2023 on March 24-26.

JULIAN, N.C. — A classic Ford-Mopar battle highlighted the Trailer Ranch LLC Top Eliminator final at Saturday’s IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering and Fuel Tech at Piedmont Dragway.

Racers from New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania traveled to the event to compete with local racers from the Carolinas and Virginia.

PORT ALLEN, La. — Good starts led to great finishes for John Angelle and Derrick Patton in Top and Mod victories at the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering and Fuel Tech at State Capitol Raceway.

Wesley LeJeune was the Sportsman winner and Slade Olinde won a run-off in Junior Dragsters at the season-opening International Hot Rod Association event.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — The 2023 International Hot Rod Association season shifts into high gear this weekend with a pair of IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Moser Engineering and Fuel Tech events in North Carolina and Louisiana.

ORANGEBURG, S.C. — South Carolina Motorplex hosted its first International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) Summit SuperSeries points race of the season last weekend.

It was a strong return of bracket racing to the Orangeburg, S.C., drag strip on a picturesque day.

HOUSE SPRINGS, Missouri — It’s one thing to hear about the passion that track operators bring to the different International Hot Rod Association member tracks. It’s another to witness it first-hand.

IHRA President Mel Roth and IHRA Eastern Division Director Doug Foley Jr. have spent the last couple of weeks visiting current, past and future IHRA drag strips. They’ve talked extensively to the track operators and seen their dedication while going on tours of the different facilities.
