The International Hot Rod Association™ (IHRA) and the world's leading motorsports media and marketing company, Racer Media & Marketing announced a global partnership today. The premiere media outlet will bring drag racing into the homes of hundreds of thousands of motorsports fans via online, print and digital coverage of the IHRA during the 2016 season.

IHRA mourns the loss of one of its longtime supporters in John “Doc” Sipple.  Doc was a well-respected chiropractor from Berea, Kentucky who routinely aided fellow racers with his skills from his Top Fuel pit area. 

The International Hot Rod Association™ (IHRA) is thrilled to welcome St. Thomas Raceway Park to the family of member tracks. The Ontario, Canada based motorsports venue serves sportsman racers in the London, Detroit, Toronto, Niagara Falls and Windsor markets.

The 2016 edition of the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) $200,000 Summit SuperSeries National Championship is off and running at many of the Southern based IHRA member tracks. This season will feature familiar names supporting the series but a brand new format that has competitors and tracks buzzing with anticipation.

The date for the 2016 IHRA Summit Pro Am Tour Event at Darlington Dragway has been moved up one week.

Due to heavy rains and flooding in the region, coupled with a less than desirable forecast, the State Capitol Raceway Summit Pro-Am Tour event scheduled for this weekend has been postponed until April 15-17.

Edelbrock Joins The IHRA Family

The International Hot Rod Association™ (IHRA) is thrilled to announce the addition of Edelbrock as the official manifold company of the IHRA for the 2016 season.

The International Hot Rod Association™ (IHRA) and WELD Racing are proud to announce a strategic partnership for the 2016 season.

Farmington Dragway and Fayetteville Motorsports Park pushed the Summit Team Finals Team Championship for Division 9 all the way to the final round and beyond.

The third race of the Summit Pro-Am Tour season at South Georgia Motorsports Park was an excellent inaugural event, with over 300 competitors racing at SGMP.  Two competitors managed to pull off a "double" championship.  IHRA's winningest sportsman competitor, Anthony Bertozzi, doubled up in Super Stock and Logan Westmoreland swept the Junior Beginner category.
